Curtain Measuring
1. Find The Right Curtain Width
Measure the total length of the curtain track or rode. Multiply this length by 2 to get the nice waves. This is your curtain width.
Did you know? Ideally, a curtain track or rod should be mounted 2-4"/ 5 to 10 cm above the window trim, to be able to open it without any difficulties.
2. Find The Right Curtain Length
For full-length curtains, measure the distance from the top of the curtain track or pole to the floor. This is the length of your curtain.
- For a straight drop to the floor, provide a space of 0.8-1.2" / 2-3 cm between the bottom of the curtain and the floor.
- For the curtain to touch the floor, provide an additional 2-4" / 5 to 10 cm between the bottom of the curtain and the floor.
For medium-length curtains, measure the distance from the top of the track to the window sill. To allow curtains to fall below the window sill, add an additional 4-8" / 10-20 cm to the total length.
